About The Trips - Directions
|Simon's Town Harbour, Wharf Street Pier|
To reach Simon's Town, it takes about 45 minutes from Cape Town or the V&A Waterfront, 30 minutes from Kirstenbosch, 20 minutes from Noordhoek and 15 minutes from Muizenberg. (Click on the links for directions with Google Maps).
In Simon's Town, follow the long red brick wall (with the sea on your left). At the end of the brick wall, turn left down Wharf Street (this is just before Jubilee Square). We meet at the end of the pier.
Note the pier is just seaward of Jubilee Square; you can see it from the Just Nuisance dog statue.
Parking at Wharf street is free for the first 20 minutes only, after which a fee is charged. Parking on Main Road and Cole Point is free. From Cole Point, walk north to the alley marked Simon’s Town Waterfront and past Bertha’s to reach the pier.
Confirm with us beforehand the name of the boat and the name of your guide. Also confirm the briefing time and departure time.
