Simonstown has a large number of guest houses, backpackers, hotels and restaurants, as do the nearby towns of Noordhoek and Fish Hoek. Here we list some of our favourites. Please note that establishment names are linked to their relevant homepages, where applicable.

Birders' Guesthouses

Catering specifically to birders are the guest houses of Afton Grove in Noordhoek (10 minutes from Simonstown), Avian Leisure (aka Windyridge) in Simonstown itself, and Jim Enticott's Self-catering Accommodation in Kirstenhof (30 minutes from Simonstown).

All offer an excellent service and are highly recommended. Afton Grove offers excellent hospitality and meals, whereas Avian Leisure and Jim Enticott's each include two inexpensive yet very comfortable self-catering flatlets.
